THE PIANO TEACHER’S SURVIVAL GUIDE
Anthony Williams discusses his recently published and highly acclaimed book
The Piano Teacher’s Survival Guide.
Concert pianist, writer, lecturer, ABRSM examiner, moderator and adjudicator, Anthony Williams is a passionate educator of pianistic musicianship at all levels from beginner to advanced. Having studied at the Royal Academy of Music and Reading University, Anthony embarked on a career as a concert pianist, soon also establishing an international reputation as a piano teacher. As well as giving masterclasses, public lecture-recitals and seminars on performance, repertoire and the art of teaching he is involved with professional development courses, workshops and summer schools in the UK and abroad.
The Piano Teacher’s Survival Guide
(Faber Music) draws on these experiences combined with insights from his professional playing as both a soloist and accompanist and as Head of Keyboard at Radley College.
