In this webinar, contributors to the recent book Instrumental Music Education (Bloomsbury, 2026) will discuss the impact of reflection on our teaching and learning. What can we glean from this process, and where might it lead us?
We’ll draw on some of the specific areas of focus explored in the book, including:
- Core beliefs we hold as teachers
- How we work with other professionals in school or institutional contexts
- Our self-view as teacher/performer or performer/teacher
- How these aspects might influence our identity and teaching practices
