Mark Dunnington

About Me

Mark Dunnington runs a successful teaching practice from home in Market Harborough offering lessons in piano (beginner to ARSM diploma standard), theory (Grades 1-8) and harmony. He is available for face to face, online lessons or a mixture of both and  is also available as an accompanist for competions and exams and as a jazz/ lounge pianist. He studied the piano with Alexander Kelly at the Royal Academy of Music and Paul Berkowitz (piano) and Jaqui Lennard (viola) at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama from where he graduated in 1983  with a GGSM degree. Following this, he qualified as a secondary school music teacher  (Cert.Ed.)  and continued private postgraduate study at the Royal Northern College of Music with David Smith. In 1993 he was awarded a Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music (LRSM) in piano performance. He is a Fellow of the Independent Society of Musicians (FISM) and has been an EPTA member for nearly 20 years.
