About Me
I teach at students’ own homes in and around Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, and in my home town of Brackley, Northants. I teach all ages, but I specialise particularly in young beginners and nervous adult beginners or returners.
I use a variety of teaching materials, including percussion instruments, rhythm cards and singing activities.
I am happy to enter students for exams with ABRSM and MTB, from the initial grades to grade 8; my pupils have had a 100% pass rate, with a majority of these being merits or distinctions.
Students are not compelled to enter exams and if they choose not to do so, they will be able to develop their musicianship skills logically and progressively, being introduced to a varied repertoire at an appropriate level.
