Teacher Profile
About Me
Fiona grew up playing piano and flute from a young age, being awarded Darlington Young Musician of the Year in 1996 and earning distinctions in grade 8 piano, ARSM and LTCL. After pursuing a career in primary teaching, she then had a break to raise her family, playing piano for her own enjoyment and with her 2 sons. She now teaches piano in schools as well as privately in evenings and at weekends. She recently took part in a masterclass with Murray McLachlan, and went on to achieve her dipABRSM in piano teaching. Under the tuition of David Murray, Fiona is now preparing for her FTCL in piano performance.
