Teacher Profile
About Me
Alice teaches individual piano lessons to all ages. This is a great opportunity for those adults who learnt the piano as children but have now forgotten everything, to come back for lessons again to freshen up their skills and get back to the level they used to be able to play at …. and to go beyond! Alice also teaches group music theory classes for all ages. For babies and toddlers, she runs Zumbini® group classes, incorporating music and dance. Progressing on from this, preschoolers may choose to begin piano lessons, where they build on their musicality, dalcroze and solfege, as they are introduced to music theory and how to play the piano. They follow preschool programmes from Wunderkeys and Dogs & Birds, before progressing onto the ABRSM syllabus for Prep level, Initial Exam, and moving into the Graded Exams for Grades 1 and beyond.
Qualifications
In 2010 Alice received the Level 4 Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Sector, qualification to teach further education.
