Ksenija Laskova

Member Biography

Ksenia, a classically trained pianist, commenced her musical journey at Stanislava Broka Muzikas Vidusskola in Latvia, where she won the 3rd Latvian National Competition for Young Pianists at the age of 15. She holds teaching positions at St Paul’s Cathedral School, JASSPA, Colfe’s School and St. Olave’s Prep School. She manages a thriving private piano studio, KOVA ED, and is an examiner for ABRSM, the International Baccalaureate Music Diploma and a moderator for the International GCSE Music. She is also on the advisory board of the Music and Drama Education Expo. Ksenia’s aspiration for musical excellence led her to London, where she pursued undergraduate studies at Goldsmiths College under the tutelage of Andrew Zolinsky and Danny Driver. Subsequently, she completed postgraduate studies in piano performance and music education at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, guided by Sergio de Simone and Tim Palmer. Ksenia is also a trained secondary classroom practitioner, qualifying at Homerton College, University of Cambridge. Later, she matriculated into Wolfson College, University of Cambridge, to earn an MA in Education. As a versatile artist, Ksenia has showcased her talent by performing Dorothy Howell’s Piano Concerto with Goldsmiths Sinfonia, collaborating with soprano Heloise Werner, and contributing as a keyboardist for Trinity Laban Symphony Orchestra.
