Hats Off for Agnes Tyrrell: Piano Music from a Romantic Genius
with Jocelyn Swigger
The beautiful, evocative masterworks of the Anglo-Moravian composer Agnes Tyrrell (1846–1883) are only now coming to light. Pianist Jocelyn Swigger is performing and publishing Tyrrell’s music, and she will share some pieces that make a welcome addition to recital and competition repertoire, along with images of Tyrrell’s manuscripts and world.
