About Me
Professional accompanist, recitalist,  jazz pianist , organist and piano teacher based in Colwyn Bay, North Wales. I run a busy piano teaching practice from my home studio from where I also teach violin, jazz piano, composition and theory. In addition I offer school support work for those studying for GCSE and A level music.

Mark Dunnington GGSM, LRSM Cert Ed FISM

Mark Dunnington studied piano with Alexander Kelly at the R.A.M and Paul Berkowitz at the Guildhall School Of Music and Drama from where he graduated in 1983. Following this, he qualified as a teacher at Middlesex Polytechnic and continued post graduate piano study with David Smith at the Royal Northern College of Music. In 1992 he was made a Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music in piano performance. For nearly twenty  years following graduation, he held the post of Director of Music in both public and state secondary schools but now runs a well - established and successful teaching practice based on the North Wales coast. Alongside a busy teaching schedule, he is also works as an accompanist, organist and jazz pianist.
