About Me
I studied for 3 years on the GRSM course at the Royal College of Music (first study piano under John Barstow) and then a further year full-time on the Advanced Course. This was followed by private study under Yonty Solomon. Before this, I studied for 2 years full-time at the East Sussex County Music Schools in Lewes whilst studying piano concurrently with Joan Last (total of 4 years of lessons after Grade 8). Since then, I have over 20 years of experience teaching piano, beginners/restarters to grade 8 (ABRSM), adults of all ages and children. Some take ABRSM exams (piano and theory) and others, particularly adults, learn just for fun.
