Teacher Profile

About Me

I am an experienced, well qualified teacher and performer with a friendly and encouraging approach.

I teach all levels and abilities from beginner to advanced. Adults are welcome. I am happy to coach students through Associated Board and other examinations if desired and I offer the opportunity to perform in an informal concert for those wishing to take part.

I am a pianist and accompanist for music exams, festivals, concerts and grade exams. I also teach flute, violin, guitar and Celtic harp.

GRSM hons, LRAM

Fees

1/2 hour lesson = £22.00

3/4 hour lesson = £33.00

Full hour lesson = >£44.00

Looking for a Piano teacher

Bursaries

If you are looking for a piano teacher, you may be interested to know that EPTA UK teacher members have access to the John Bigg Bursary Fund. This provides grants for pupils who may be having difficulty paying for their piano lessons.

How to identify a good teacher

Good teachers can often be identified at local Music Festivals and other public events, or at pupils’ concerts (see the EPTA UK magazine for piano teachers Piano Professional for details).
