Teacher Profile
About Me
I am a friendly and professional Piano and Music Theory teacher with eight years’ teaching experience. I teach in my pupils’ homes and I am happy to travel throughout the Bristol area and further afield, depending on location – please get in touch with me to discuss in more detail. I am happy to prepare pupils for a variety of music exams but my lessons are more than just an ‘exam factory’: my main aim is to help my pupils to become better musicians and I realise that exams aren’t the best way forward for every child. I work with pupils, parents and carers to understand the needs and goals of each individual pupil and I adapt my lessons accordingly. I have an Enhanced DBS check with subscription to the update service and I have been a member of the ISM (Independent Society of Musicians, formerly Incorporated Society of Musicians) since 2012. If you would like to discuss piano or music theory lessons for yourself or a child, or you have a question about piano or music theory lessons, please contact me and I will do my best to help.
