Congratulations to our ‘Young Pianist of the Month’ (June 2026) – Ashley Solano Hernández.
Ashley Solano Hernández is a British Colombian pianist and composer studying Performance and Composition at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where he is also a student ambassador for EPTA.
He previously studied with Penelope Roskell and has performed across London, including a Gala recital at Conway Hall alongside Cristina Ortiz. He is currently on his “Shadows of the Soul” tour, centred on his Second Piano Sonata of the same name, which is available on streaming platforms.
Alongside performing, Ashley maintains an active teaching studio, working with students of all levels and ages with a focus on expressive, technically healthy piano playing. He organises concerts twice a year where his students perform, giving them valuable stage experience.
