DeeDee Redford, a 12 year old pianist from Axminster, Devon, has been visiting local primary schools for the past two years, playing to assemblies of children, engaging in question and answer sessions about being a pianist and helping them source good upright pianos.
This Autumn DeeDee will play a series of concerts that combine piano with light hearted entertainment in order to attract more young families and children into audiences.
DeeDee studies piano at rcmjd with Katya Lebedeva and has recently performed a piano duo concert with her sister Bibi Redford, who is at rcm. DeeDee has spent the Summer performing Mozart K414 with various different ensembles, around the South West and abroad.
