About EPTA Europe

Founded by Carola Grindea in 1978 in London, EPTA Europe is the umbrella organisation for all the European EPTA Associations and unites pianists and piano teachers from all over the world.

Every association organises its own congresses, workshops, seminars, recitals, masterclasses and is committed to present Young Artists Platforms, Competitions and European Young Artists Festivals. EPTA Associates outside Europe include the USA and South America, Canada, India, China, Hong Kong, Israel, and Australasia.

An Annual Conference of all EPTA Associations is held every year in a different country under the presidency of the host Association.

EPTA Europe also publishes Piano Journal, the first ever Journal to be based solely on piano teaching and piano performance. It is published three times a year.
